Thanks Bobby. If you host your virtual tour on your own server, you will still incur monthly costs. In fact that’s also true for any website. Yet no one argues that paying for web hosting is unreasonable. Similarly, as long as clients know what they are getting into, they can make an informed decision about whether it is worth the cost to have a virtual tour shown on their site. As for the cons, I explained the downsides and I don’t think I omitted any material disadvantages. I’m happy to answer any questions.

@@360vroomers I think, that the argument is a littl weak. Webspace is mostly very cheap, you can change your provider and anybody will have it anyway... so hosting a tour will often not increase monthly costs. For example, I could never afford to show all my many tours since a decade on my website. Anyway I apreciate the information given by your video... very interesting. Thank you!

Hi Mark! I haven’t tried the hohem mics but if a microphone works with your smartphone then it should work. Just to clarify, the audio is recorded by the hover phone app. This means the app has to be running while the x1 is flying. After recording, you need to export the video to your phone gallery using the phone app or else the audio won’t be heard. I hope that helps.

I have exactly the same problem. Timelapse changes are not preserved when you add clips to a project. I suspect this is a bug.

Max has a better internal mic. But x3 and x4 have two external mic options: Bluetooth mic such as Apple AirPods or use the insta360 mic adapter with a microphone that has a 3.5 TTS jack. X3 and x4 also have a cold shoe for rode wireless go and similar mics so they can remain “invisible” to the camera.

Hi there is no nadir logo in the project because nadir logo is only for 360 video. Project tab can do reframed video but not 360 video. I hope that helps.

I tried lock orientation but it only changes the display. The video still rotates orientation depending on the gyro. There is a freeframe mode that might work better (you can change the aspect ratio after shooting) although you need to export from insta360 studio or the insta360 mobile app.

What camera? Some cameras have modes that can’t change stitching etc. for example if I use Go 3S video mode (not freeframe mode), you can’t change stitching or stabilization.

Hey there Andrew! Good question. How do you plan to use it? Just for fun or are you planning to use it for video production? If it’s just for fun I would get x3 and upgrade next year if you want. If you are planning to use professionally, or if you need the best image quality, or you want a longer time before upgrade, then I suggest x4

@@360vroomers yea mainly for fun / instagram reels + tiktok’s where the image is capped, my main concern now is the lens guards, the x4 having built in ones are appealing but not sure if it’s worth the 100$ extra, i’ve seen the options for the x3 and was wondering if you knew about the quality for the sticky lens?

@andrewbroham3811 the x4 lens protector isn’t much better than the x3 lens protector imho. I wouldn’t use that as the deciding factor. The biggest difference is image quality.

No you can’t connect an external microphone to it as of now. So you would need to record with an external microphone and sync in post. That’s what I did in the last scene when I was seated at a park bench.

Thanks Pete! Pls use your x4 and ace pro! The image quality improvement over the x2 will be huge! You can even use both at the same time with a bracket. I suggest mounting the x4 upside down so the ace pro won’t be in the shot in me mode / selfies.

There’s a similar difference between go 3 1440p 50fps and go 3s 2.7k 50fps. I’ll upload samples so you can check them out.

Guessing since the max record time was never mentioned in official/or this review; it has not changed. Had it allowed for continuous single video recording until battery drained, or storage media filled, it would have been a consideration

@nemesis851_ hi insta360 said 140 mins but I haven’t tested if it’s continuous. I’m going to test tonight. Out of curiosity what is your intended use for recording that long? Maybe ace pro could be better for you.

X4 is going to be a primary But option points of view (eg. Mounted under a vehicle) would be desirable. and if the camera (in a housing I would design) were to be lost, it’s not as expensive as losing an X4 Plus with the “Find My” I would have a “better chance” of locating it again Yes I know how AirTags work and is based on an iPhone nearby able to pick it up and then relay its location to Apple, then I’d hopefully within hours get it’s last known location.

@@nemesis851_ ok I found out that in timed capture mode, you can set a max duration as short as 15 secs to as long as 2 hours.

Yes it has haptic feedback. it has timed recording function but once it starts it will just record until it runs out of battery I think.

According to the manual there is a "Duration" parameter for all the video type modes (as well as interval photo). That certainly suggests that feature.

Sorry I didn’t get to test this but I didn’t experience any overheating.

@MiReKi1975 the find my iPhone feature works for the 3S camera but not the action pod. The brain of the camera is in the camera not the action pod. Afaik there are no disadvantages. Let me check to be sure.

The camera can be used for Zillow but whether you can upload to Zillow depends on which software you use. Make sure your software works with Zillow.

Uhuh the evo was a classic and still sought after by 3d shooters. Many would like insta360 to bring it back but it appears insta360 doesn’t see enough demand for it.
